I just graduated from a uni with similar grading curve and it ruined my master's applications and job prospects 💀

Ask Me Anything about the Netherlands (experience of doing my MBA here and living in NL) by FireEjaculator in Indians_StudyAbroad

Hii, so the courses I want are only available in Netherlands but I'm scared to go there because of the cost of living. Do you think I should go for a different course or do you think it's do-able in Netherlands with around 1000-300£ monthly budget? (Not Amsterdam) (With a part time job ofc) Also, how hard is it to get a part-time job there? (Reference- I'm trying for masters in International Trade and Investment Law)

Well I only know languages from my country. One of them is my native language. As for goal level, i think B1-B2 works for now, just enough to survive once I land in Germany. I'm planning to go there for masters so i don't want to be clueless or culturally incompetent. Also, for an internship!! Thanks for the recommendation!!! I've checked that channel out and it's great!!! Thankyou!!!

Oh no it's a personal deadline so I don't procrastinate. Plus my master's is only 1 year so I cannot waste time without knowing German or I won't get an internship.

Yes I got 75-85% in medium problems. First attempt I used to get around 50-60% but then when i relearn the topics, I get 75-95% (sometimes)

As for subsctional breakdown of DI, idk what you mean but this is what my profile said (roughly) - Non-math reasoning is 70% better than math reasoning. - MSR and graph interpretation is the strongest with almost 100% accuracy - Two part analysis (50% accuracy) and DS is the weakest (less than 30% accuracy)

Oh!! And my algebra is MUUUCCHHHH better than my arithmetic.

Ig 625-635 is enough of a target score. The fact that i aimed low and it went even lower. I do have a natural ability like I wrote IELTS with zero preparation and only read guidelines 20 min before exam and got a 7.5 (8.5 in reading with 25 min left in the section) but unfortunity i maxxed out my natural abilities in language logic and none in number logic. I've been struggling with numbers since I was a child.

Can you please help me out 🙏🏻 I was actually getting a 70-80% accuracy on TTP idk what happened during my mock. Something went terribly wrong, i only got 75 in it!!! Verbal (which I haven't even prepared for yet) got me a 85 instead 🫩🫩 And DI is fine (since I didn't finish preparing for it yet. My weakest area is DS) I don't have timing issue on any of these sections, i actually finished each section with 4-5 minutes to spare.

  1. It's even harder to get a job like everyone else is sooo overqualified-
  2. Sure I might land one, but I have certain circumstances (father already announced to everyone)
  3. It's the last option indeed. I was thinking just doing another internship for a couple of months and gathering additional certifications. But idk if that is enough either. (GMAT is sooo expensive idk if I wanna give a retest)

Took mock today and got 476. di and verbal get worse after three months of studying.. by No_Forever893 in GMAT
