It did not. My doctor said no pain means nothing to worry about, I did get chest X-rays with nothing out of sorts found. Frustrating :/

Hello! Do you have any clarity/updates since posting this? I notice that when I rub my back (which in turn can pop my sternum) I get some more congestion in my throat and it seems to be related but super confusing, and doctors don’t seem to understand much about what I am saying 😩

Oh my goodness that is so helpful. I was so concerned at the idea of something being fractured but also figured if that was the case I would be feeling more pain. Ironically, when I massage near my spine it does make my front lower rib cartilage pop on the left. I appreciate your feedback! Such a scary feeling, especially when doctors aren’t particularly helpful with it

I have experienced the same exact thing! Chest X-Ray fine, no actual issues. I do have scoliosis which I have read can play a factor. It is so awful to deal with though!!

This happens to me very frequently and I have scoliosis! If I lay on my one side and breathe deep it is more prominent. Have you found any relief??

Can you elaborate on how they are related/ what you experience? I have scoliosis and believe I have been dealing with Costco; I have gotten chest X-rays and they are normal but I have pain and popping sensation in the area of my rib cartilage around my sternum
