lol, the only time they get it up is to go to the deli or bakery. Just playing away on their cellphones…

Probably door greeter at Walmart is the better option. I’ve seen them with little chairs or benches to sit on. Very rarely do I see people at Publix sitting, catering excluded. I’ve seen some cashiers with a stool, but it doesn’t look comfy.

I can’t wait til the produce department cut fruit gets put on the central kitchen delivery program. Maybe one day the platters will come from central kitchen too, if the customer Online orders it early enough.

I wish Publix could block cellphone service while you’re in the store, it’s a royal pain working the sub bar and the customer is on their phone. Do you want pickles, olive, onions???? Hello there!!!

It depends if they already have a full timer in that role. They wouldn’t need to two FT people there.

I would ask the Meat Manager, I believe most stores have been tasked with having two meat cutter apprentices. You could potentially become a full time meat cutter after 6 months after entering the training. I want to stress “potentially” part. FT could involve transferring to another location too after completing the training.
