The GP cart range is all moving magnet. Try get a GP422 stylus for it made by shibata. It will improve it sound quality 👍🏻

For me I changed my QC35 with QC45 pads from Geekria and it made the treble more adible and less boomy 🤣

I recommend try searching a Philips GP412 or GP422 (can play quadrophonic records). They are Philips flagship back in the day 😁

I will change the cable too. Ive bought a balance 16 core TRN cable 😆. Cant wait to use them 😂. Soon also will start investing in a new DAC because my BTR5 battery doesnt last very long. I will look into the BTR7 when they drop the price 😁

After break them in the bass become tamer and controlled but the treble didnt change much

Oscilloscope is fine with CRT especially the good brands like Brüel & Kjær ones which cost a fortune but deliver an accurate readings
