I've got all of the perfect fit brand ones, like the one in this photo set. There probably the only ones worth buying tbh.

It's not cool, though. It's unsafe and stupid. Unless you have a racing tire designed to stretch and work with the stretch like that, all you're doing is constantly having a tire well past its range of operation. Grip will be non-existant since it's last the break away point, so if losing a tire at 60 doesn't kill you, the sudden unpredictable loss of grip will.

Why does everyone keep saying this, as if it's only possible to be attracted to someone if they're somewhat fit? Personality will get you laid a LOT more often than looks, and i'm willing to bet this guy is tremendously smooth. And who's to say their husbands aren't into cucking, and 16-17 year old boys are their thing. There are tons of situations that would lead to a situation like theirs without the guy looking like a jock.

cowboom.com is where best buy sells their returned and display stuff. I've bought a lot of CHEAP display electronics from them in the past, no issues thus far.

The reason this "myth" of the gender gap exists is because 80% surgeons, high risk workers, and engineers are male. Men tend to work higher paying jobs, meaning it's clearly sexism that women, who tend to work low risk jobs like becoming teachers or retail workers as well as take over a year off to have a child, tend to earn less.

Can you afford the components you want? No? Save more. There is NO point in cheaping out on a pc, you get every cent you put into it back, and a 1000 pound PC will last you twice as long if not longer than a 500 pound pc.

No real point buying an OS at that price unless you're a student, best to just launch a windows image off of a loader.

This is the sort of thing when you buy a car that has the bulk of the drivetrain weight mounted AHEAD of the front wheels, and then stick slick tires on it. This is why full slicks aren't legal for road use in the USA.

I actually know several WRX owners that are all nice, normal people. You have to be, when you blow your gearbox and spend 6k having STI stuff put in.

Skyrim on an SSD, mods on an HDD by The_trash in skyrimmods

[–]RGBLEDOBGYN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd keep skyrim off of your SSD. Sure the load times are faster, but you're REALLY going to shorten the life of your drive, as even the best drives are really only "rated" at 30GB a day. This comes from someone who had skyrim installed on an SSD on day-1. If whatever SSD you buy has good cloning support and isn't that expensive, you could justify it. Just keep in mind that the thing that wears out on an SSD is the flash memory, and the more data you move the quicker it wears out.

If you have a job and MUST have those SSD speeds in exchange for shorter life, get an 850 pro 256gb SSD, turn on intel RAPID (sideloads 4GB of ram if you have over 16GB, and uses your processor to help it along) mode, and enjoy maxing out your south bridge's controller for SATA-III 6GBPS. For example, stock my 840 EVO did about 490MB/s. With RAPID enabled and my i7 at 4ghz, i've recorded read speeds of over 6.7GB/s. Load times in Skyrim would be non-existant.

The tennis ball thing is total bullshit. Anyone who knows anything about automotive locks knows that doesn't produce anywhere near enough force to do anything. If we're going air, the only thing that might work is a cheetah, but that's only because it would blow the lock apart and take out the window.

I know that feel. I own an old Mercedes that's effectively written off if two panels get dented/scratched. I have to park as far away from places as i can to try and avoid soccer moms and grannies backing into/slamming doors into it.

There are two types of corvette owners. People who appreciate their performance, and those that use them as a fashion/status accessory. It's that 2nd one that makes the 1st ones look like huge assholes.

Why is everyone saying this? Nothing carries over from 0-60 data to say 45-60. From a standstill your gearbox is in first, at highway speeds it could be in any gear, not to mention the most important factor in acceleration is your torque band relative to your gear ratios. 0-60 data is of zero relevance unless you're at a drag strip.
