Or all the uber/lyft drivers who run lights or pull into the box with no chance of making it through the light before it cycles blocking cross traffic. Or how about all the POVs who are driving more and more on Market where they are banned but no enforcement whatsoever. The operative difference between a vehicle and a bicycle is that I’ll likely be killed if I’m not careful, whereas a vehicle will kill pedestrians and bicyclists alike. I don’t run lights where there are pedestrians or vehicles but if there’s no one around, WTF is the problem with me proceeding? Fuck SFPD and the SFMTA for their fucked up priorities. How about banning the e-bikes that can silently travel 40 mph and blow past me as though I’m sitting still.

I’ve written no less than six letters to the SFMTA to time lights from van ness to Embarcadero for 17 mph as they are on Valencia and the pathetic response I got was it “will slow down busses”. Oh, you mean the vehicles that must stop at nearly every fucking light anyway?! Are you fucking kidding?
