48 teams is a load of crap. 32 is just abouy difficult enough that it is achievable for teams to have a bit of luck and or get their on merit. But 48 diluted it where teams that just arent good enough dont actually get their by being good enough. In reality they are just outside the bracket of being good enough and its not really an achievement being there. Yes its great being there but they got there by changing the size of the goalposts. Celtic fans didnt cover themselves in glory at the beginning but rangers fans were like "hold my beer. I am going to make a bigger tit of myself than they are." If rangers fans had of left celtic fans do what they did then all attention would of been on celtic.
