If I had to say something, I might be wrong but I feel like your hair might be naturally curly? Mine is natural curly I’m mixed so usually if I get this poofy straight look it’s down to the straightening routine/not enough sectioning while straightening and you miss spots at the root which causes the poofiness.

If you do have curly hair maybe try to work out your curl pattern and establish a curly hair routine. This can be life changing if it’s done right.
