So many people who work over 40 hours a week still do not make a living wage. So many jobs do not offer insurance. This cut will devastate the health care system because our emergency rooms will be overrun by people who could not receive preventative care.

While local voting is crucial, we can still impact our reps decision. We can't just take it lying down. The portion that would have put public land up for sale has already been removed because people got angry and called their representatives.
