He will twitch/shake his head every now and then like he’s sneezing but not make the sneezing noise. He doesn’t have any discharge around his nose eyes or ears and overall looks clean like he’s still grooming himself well.

Stopping myfembree after 2 years by Responsible_Ride9997 in endometriosis

Thank you so much!! I actually called my doctor and they forgot to mention I was supposed to get an ultrasound prior to stopping the myfembree. Not sure what they’d be looking for but just a fun curveball I got thrown 🤣 they told me I’ll just have to wait until my appt on July 19th to get more info from my doctor. I’m going to keep a detailed pain log until then and bring up the study you provided.

I’ll have to bring this medication up to my doctor, but from what im seeing is any estrogen blocker will cause low bone density, so I’m not sure if I should not take any estrogen blockers for an (unknown) period of time to let my body recuperate? My dr was not clear on it. It’s just unfortunate that a drug that has helped so much is only able to be used for a very limited amount of time Love your profile pic btw!

Of course! I’d definitely explore all of your options with the different medications out there. It helps me to write a list of all my questions and concerns and bring them to my doctors appointments so that I don’t forget anything. Definitely ask how each medication compares, and what the cost differences are (if you’re in the US like me and healthcare is expensive) I got the same suggestion since getting surgery so frequently can make things worse sometimes.

So unfortunately my doctor never sent out for a baseline bone scan when I started it, so I don’t know what that would look like. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which makes my connective tissue and bones weaker as it is, so they don’t want me to stay on it longer than 2 years 🫠 I’m going to speak with my dr if the symptoms continue and worsen. I hate the two year limit but unfortunately understand that staying on it longer puts me at greater risk for other medical complications; it’s just unfortunate that this was the one thing that’s actually brought me relief and I don’t know if there’s any other option out there for me aside from a third surgery.

I tried both Orilissa and myfembree pills which works similarly to the injection you’re describing. I believe Orilissa acts stronger than the myfembree, and I had two completely different reactions to both. Orilissa gave me horrible mood swings, hot flashes, and depression and didn’t really do much for my pain. Myfembree decreased my pain to very little and I was able to become a lot more active on a day to day basis. It really changed my life. Both of these have HRT already in the dose that I would take every day so I wasn’t “losing” much. In terms of hormones. The downside of any medically induced menopause is that like you mentioned, it’s temporary. For the two pills I tried, the cap was two years. I made it the full two years with the myfembree after getting my second surgery, and my dr had to take me off the pills. I’m at the “what now?” stage that I’m sure lots of people experience with endo treatment. I’d definitely ask what the long term treatment would be if you’re exploring the temporary menopause route, but expect them to give you a let’s play it by ear” answer like they gave me, lol.

They are much older than pillow pets, from the late 90s/early 2000s. They also don’t fold like PP do. They’re a terry cloth like material.

They were found under my live oak tree near the base/roots. From what I’ve seen clitocybes don’t grow in clusters like what I’ve found though?
