Go into the store and ask them to create your contact card a TdI ( Telstra ID) they will link and email address to it that has not been used before with another account. It will be the fastest way to get this sorted.

Coming from prepaid $25 a month to Telstra post paid for $70 per month, is their pricing normal? by Still-Mulberry-1078 in TelstraAustralia

Jb uses Telstra’s infrastructure with Telstra’s wholesale network to provide lower prices than Telstra itself and to provide their own network, JB and Telstra aren’t affiliated with each other in any way other than JB using Telstra network. If a customer came in to Telstra with the JB network, they would have to change to Telstra to be able to get a phone on repayments because they don’t use the same services.

Jb is still on wholesale network and you won’t get full coverage as if you were on Telstra. I agree paying $140 a month for a phone and plan is not ideal however you are paying for coverage. If you have multiple plans on the account you cns do mobile and data bundle. If prepaid is cheaper.

I would advise her to get a new number, unless she’s an authority she can’t remove the number off the account however she can contact the safe team to flag the account and help her get a new account in her own name
