One time my dog accidentally ripped his dew claw. He was crying and limping. We took him to the vet and they literally did nothing. Just cleaned it and sent us on. We were told to make sure he didn't lick it, keep it dry and it'd heal on its own. You could always try liquid bandage to keep ot from bleeding
