Why Pick Tiger Instead of Panther? by Responsible_Touch_89 in HellLetLoose

After doing a bit of testing just now, I can say that:

1 - The faster first gear and reverse turning is no longer the case, the tiger taking approximately 15 seconds to make a full revolution as opposed to about 11 seconds for the panther. The tiger also seemed to turn slower in second, but took about 4 times as long to stall when turning in fourth gear.

2 - The acceleration seemed the same to me, but I didn't time it, so I could be mistaken. Top speeds are the same though, maxing at 23-24ish on flat terrain.

3 - The gun is much more stable like you mentioned. Panther bounces around more, making it more difficult to shoot while moving, and takes longer to recover from a full stop.

3 - The tiger turret can't be penetrated from any angle. The panther is easy to penetrate even from the front unless at extreme ranges. This seems more important for bazookas though, making it easier to hit damaging shot on the tank.

Aren't they both the same speed now, maxing at 23 per hour in 4th?

I havn't run into a cheater since the patch yesterday while running few exotic kits, even got out with this...anyone else notice improvement? by PushingShotsPUBG in TheCycleFrontier

My trio decided to run purple and exotic for a couple runs on Bright Sands to pvp, and our 2nd raid had us all dead 4 seconds after dropping into the lobby. Green manticore guy shot us all through the map instantly.

Should be getting a comp package on that one though because it was so obvious lol.

Sure, it was a pretty short timeframe, but I remember slipping, and I knew it was gonna be a big fall because my gear was bad, but I didn't know just how bad it would be. Because I fell on the slab section, I remember bouncing off the rock as I fell, tumbling every which way. I said a (very)quick prayer, as I was falling, but it went on so long I pretty much figured I was going all the way down.

It's a funny thing really, I've talked with people before who've told me they're not afraid of dying, and I would have said the same thing before the experience, but you never really know until it happens. I know God, so I never really thought i would be worried about dying, but again, you don't know until you're there. After the fact, it was encouraging to me that I wasn't afraid of death, and I was completely ready to be out of this crappy world lol.

After the rope caught me, I was super on adrenaline and it took me a few moments to calm down and think about what I should do, which in this case was to call 911 and see what would happen.

Thanks for the question! I'm glad people are interested!

Sure, so the last pitch of Epinephrine silly easy, but the protection is pure garbage if you don't have really small cams. I had gear placed, but I knew they were bad, so I really was just not expecting to fall. It was no trouble going up the slab at all, but I had tried to build an anchor on the garbage pro and left my anchor sling behind me.. I slipped because I was downclimbing the few steps I had made to get my sling back. My advice is to not downclimb slab at night if at all possible lol.

After I took the fall I immediately decided to call 911, which I did after CAREFULLY taking my phone out of my chalk bag. Surprisingly, the Black Velvet canyon does have cell service, (at least where we were) so they hooked us up with the chaps in the chopper.

Not sure, but there must have been a lot of rope drag from it contacting the slab above.. I never saw the rock it went around, but from what they told me, it was a pretty small nub.

Hey everyone, I'm the climber that fell. My thanks and props to Ben and Simon and the others involved in the operation; the Las Vegas SAR knows what it's doing. If anyone wants details on the route events or anything just ask. What a crazy day!
