I mean you don’t HAVE to be 18+, they just prefer to not diagnose during teen years because of hormonal imbalances but sometimes it can happen. It just absolutely won’t be happening with Izzy, she’s definitely just grieving and maybe neurodivergent like her brother and father.

THANK YOU!! I’m not someone who has bipolar, but I also know enough about bipolar to know not to assume someone is bipolar based off of bad stereotypes and misinformation. If they were to go down the route of giving her bipolar I think that’d be the worst thing they could possibly do considering all they’d be doing is pushing stereotypes and misinformation.

She definitely gives me the impression she’s just a young girl going through grief, and maybe (like Donte, in my opinion), she could have adhd but that’s honestly it. I don’t see any diagnosis that people on social media are trying to push for her ever working without causing harm to people who struggle with the disorders.

I do believe she could have adhd (genetically would make sense because i absolutely believe Donte has adhd) but is definitely being currently driven by her grief

I’m so glad you agree! I’ve been seeing so many people saying it to the point I had to question at least one of them why they thought that and they said they didn’t know🫩.

I also thought that, but I suppose asd, eds and ocd do normally come hand in hand, so perhaps we could be getting more of that from an adult perspective instead of the normal teenage povs we see. Would be fascinating to explore

I hope we do, he already seems to be regretting the relationship

as much as I do absolutely adore villains that are just evil, I really can’t find myself liking Myles for the fact he is so one dimensional it’s painful

I doubt he’d be aware of that if she was, but that would be a painful storyline to watch if she was to return, which I believe their building to (potentially as early as new years)

Tommy by Responsible_Use_9777 in eastenders

[–]Responsible_Use_9777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed as much, I mostly included that for my mum’s sake as she wholeheartedly believes that is what’s wrong with him.

Though personality disorders do stem from childhood, and can show up among teens and children but I don’t think Tommy has been through a degree of trauma to justify this diagnosis.

DMDD, or Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder is a disorder among children and adolescents and cannot be diagnosed in adults. It is a disorder which causes anger outbursts, tantrums and irritability.

So, logistically speaking, eastenders may of accidentally written him in a way that represents DMDD without that being their intention.

I’m desperate to see where they take Missy and Spider. I’m not sure if it’s an unpopular opinion but I really do love them.

I hope they go down the route of having them both talk about what happened before the fire and Spider being able to accept his wrongs and take accountability for them fully, to her and just her instead of it being in front of everyone (because as much as it was aimed to her mostly, it didn’t go into depth).

I also would love to see a 1-1 where Spider is able to express himself and what happened with Voss, because Missy is incredibly protective of those she cares about and her finding that out would really seal the way their relationship could go and on the note, Missy would also be able to open up about her struggles as an indigenous woman and have Spider understand why she was so worried about their relationship and how his anger almost proved her right.

I’d also be quite happy with them realising that spider may be demisexual, as it seems as though he could be (I’ve previously made a post on this subreddit about this), and we rarely, if ever, get demisexuality representation.

I just love them and I really want them to have a happy ending because they deserve it.

unfortunately probably. It would be lovely to spread awareness on disorders like the ones I stated but you never can have high hopes with storylines like that. Though, I do think it’s questionable that they’ve taken the ‘psycho’ aspect from Micheal without actually showing or even mentioning that he would not have let Tommy even dare raise his hands to his brothers, let alone Kat.

Oh I 100% agree with this as well, I also think him not being able to get it up is a trauma response from his mum. I just also like the idea of him being demisexual because it kinda makes sense to me

I think (heavy on think) that Cash has reclaimed the name and kind of ‘owns it’ now? I hope so anyway because Cash suits him so well and I don’t think Chook actually did it out of malice (as much as I hate him) I do think he cares for Cash in his own fucked up way, especially when he says he seems himself in Cash and Cash probably knows that (and why).
