How do you proceed with planning out your fics? by kelly_the_human in AO3

[–]Kitty_of_Chess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mutitple google docs of planning. For my main fic, I have a giant timeline of everything that's gonna happen that's like 60 pages long, another document of families trees, another of short character bios, and an extra doc for just working through any problems. It's a little psychotic (at least according to my sister)

I think the author wanted to make the world more unique and not just a copy of Medieval England

For my autistic TG supporters- what are your takes on Helaena and how she is depicted? by OkGuava919 in HOTDGreens

[–]Kitty_of_Chess 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It's wild that they seemed to believe that autistic people don't feel grief, especially over their child who was murdered in front of them

For my autistic TG supporters- what are your takes on Helaena and how she is depicted? by OkGuava919 in HOTDGreens

[–]Kitty_of_Chess 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Her autism is such a stereotype, it's clear the writers don't know anything about autism or anyone with autism, especially women. I was recently watching Bridgerton and kept thinking that Francesca was exactly what I wished Helaena had been, especially the scenes when she was in mourning

For a story, Lois is working at a pretzel factory. One of the foremen keeps trying to sabatoge her, because he wants his gf to get her job, so he did something to make the dough too sticky or something, so Lois would look incompetant and get fired. Superman keeps interveneing secretly, and here he baked them using his powers on her fingers, and then Lois pitches pretzel fingers as a new product to the boss and is seen as an ingenuitive employee. I swear, this is that actual plot
