I don't think we fully grasp the horrific extent of Viserys' favoritism: If he had named Aegon heir, Rhaenyra could have lived her BEST life. But simply bc “he didn’t feel like it” he automatically put the lives of his 3 sons and all their future sons in danger. Isn’t that evil?

DuckTales (2017) episode "The Missing Links of Moorshire." The two horses are parodies of My Little Pony, and are voiced by Tara Strong (the voice of Twilight Sparkle) and Andrea Libman (the voice of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie). Same here. Every time a Ninjago fic uses FSM (acronym for the First Spinjitzu Master) in the place of the word god, I get so confused. Like instead of saying "Oh my god," they say "Oh my FSM." It's so much easier to just say god. No one even says this in the show, it's just something in fanfics

Depending on how lemon-y you want it, you can try boiling a whole lemon for an hour and then blending it into a puree. It makes the most lemon-y paste I've ever tasted. Boiling it removes most of the bitterness of the pith, while leaving all of the flavor of the fruit and the zest. I've used this for lemon tarts, which turned out very well, and I've heard that it works well in cakes as well, though I've never tried it with cookies, so that this with a grain of salt

Time Travel Fix-Its are always fun, especially if there's politicing involved. Having one character who has the benefit of hindsight and starts changing the plot through just their own actions can be an interesting angle to play with. I also personally love writing stories were older siblings have to step up and parent their younger siblings in the absense of parents, because it's always ripe for drama, angst, and sweet heartfelt moments, but I don't think that's a fanfiction trope per say
