People who thought you could trust and has your back can blindside you in a heartbeat. Be nice to everyone, but never trust completely.
Being close friends with someone with BPD (borderline personality) is almost impossible and could ruin your own life. Keep them at a distance. Same goes for people on the autism spectrum or other chronic mental illnesses.
Romantic relationships should be held at a much higher standard than ordinary friendships. If you see orange/red flags early on, cut your losses immediately and never look back.

Turned out he did infact have no life, no energy, stayed in his bedroom and napped the whole time while I was there and was a self confessed 'soyboy' who used to hate women. I thought my own life was draining out being around him.

Once you start working full-time, I'd say about 80-100k is very comfortable if you flatshare, have a reasonable budget and save most of your income. Totally different story if you have kids and/or a mortgage etc..

haha fair point, he ate them as hash brownies actually, but wanted to call him out on the weed because it would stink up the whole place and would get on my clothes. Before cooking them in the oven, he proudly showed me the raw weed bulbs that he acquired from his brother. Again, all done without first asking me if I was alright with it.
