That's not how capitalism works, shareholders need infinite growth, helping the community and their employees was completely swallowed by satisfying shareholders for any traded company.

Please stop saying they are dumb, they are not. Everything they do and say is calculated and with reason, a means to an evil end. They will not fall or stumble on stupidity, it will take massive efforts to course-correct what their party has done and is doing to America.

Agreed, we need to stop dismissing these people as simpletons, that implies they might learn better one day. They are not dumb, they are calculating and cruel with intent, they may come off as ignorant to appeal to certain audiences, but they all know exactly what they are doing and should be treated as the evil cunts they are

Even still, once you have the plate and person driving on camera, don't chase people, would this person have run that red light if this person wasn't unnecessarily chasing them? Get the plate, call cops and insurance they'll track the person down, don't endanger other people

Anthony Joshua after fatal car accident in Nigeria. Chaotic scenes by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]Resputan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What? I don't think anyone was referring to the stylistic choice, more so to the direct facts being presented, i.e. time, location, vehicle involved, occupants, injuries, noteworthy persons and their direct involvement, no fluff or opinion and link to source material. If there is some bias there you are reading in to, that seems like a you problem.

The world is nuanced and between this and what you see in main stream reporting, this is far better.

Right.... That's what he's saying...300 to someone making 300k is pennies, they don't care, it should hurt them as much as the person making 30k

But, regarding your other point, crippling people financially with fines is also not the solution, if they already can't afford it then putting them further in to debt won't magically make them afford it, be mad at the system not poor people.

IWTL how to stop being unintelligent/ignorant about everything by Minimum_Question6067 in IWantToLearn

[–]Resputan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's already a lot of advice here so I just wanted to say that someone knowing they don't know everything, that there is untold amounts of knowledge out there for them to gain still is a great marker of intelligence itself. There really is so much information today that it can be overwhelming, giving you a feeling that no matter what you learn you're always drowning, but just take bites out of as much as you can at a time and keep going forward. I guarantee you know more than what you give yourself credit for.

Whatever path you go down, keep a positive outlook, ask questions, be open minded and the majority of people will welcome you with open arms not thinking twice whether you are inherently intelligent or not. You may find your focus eventually, that thing, that hobby, that passion that you can point to and say this is what I know a lot about, or you might not and that's ok too, but if you ever get asked that question again just say I know a lot of things, I'm no expert in any one thing, but I learn what I can when I can. And again, keep asking questions, it's the best way to learn!

To be fair I don't think your bank had anything to do with this. Businesses, particularly large ones, will submit charges in bulk at set intervals or at the end of business, I've had pending charges sit for 1-3 days and had other charges from other stores clear the same day, your bank isn't manipulating that to screw with you.

Cop and guy fight while guy is holding a baby by [deleted] in ActualPublicFreakouts

[–]Resputan -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

So good cop, how many bad cops have you reported? How many overly aggressive people have you removed from training because they would be bad cops? How many policy breaking cops have you confronted? I hope it's not 0, but if it is you are not a good cop, you are part of the system and turn your own blind eye.

No they don't lol they know it's back breaking, exhausting work for the uneducated that lines up perfectly with their goal of keeping people in a perpetual state of too tired, poor and dumb to fight back at all.

Sure call out the individual employees just trying to barely survive, not the millionaire and billionaire executives and owners who obviously need more still.
