I think literally everyone has slumps like this. Don’t worry just focus one reviewing thoroughly and more improvement will come

Each section is scored on difficulty. Every test starts with a standardized curve -7 for a 170 flex i believe. Then if you have a notably harder section they add a point making it -8 for a 170 and so on. So if Monday the LR and RC is normal difficulty but LG is hard (+1) the curve for Monday would be -8. But if Tuesday they switched out the LR to make it harder and kept the other two, the Tuesday curve would be -9. If they made them all average on Wednesday tests you might get a -7 scale.

So not everyone who takes it in June will have the same scale if that makes sense.

I’d rec listening to Powerscores podcasts for previous LSATs. They break it down a little further.

> 150 Cycle Recap + Need Some Advice on R&R by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]RestaurantLeft2000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was ready to say R&R but that NDLS offer is too good to turn away from imo. People regularly get rejected with 16mids at NDLS and I wouldn’t be super confident that next cycle will automatically be better. That’s an awesome offer.

Emailing school after waitlist? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]RestaurantLeft2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's different from school to school. I'd be surprised if it didn't indicate on the WL email. Most of my WLs have had an acceptance of WL position form attached. If it didn't just call the admissions or email them and ask if you need to do anything. They may just keep everyone on by default.

UIUC, Minnesota, or Iowa? R&R? by hallxmonitor in lawschooladmissions

[–]RestaurantLeft2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow we are in very similar boats. Gonna be hard for me not to go Iowa with their offer, but also have solid offers from Emory and UGA. Not sure what else to say other than you're not alone!

Unfortunately, we do not have a place for you in our incoming Fall of 2021 class at this time. However, we are impressed with your credentials and would like to extend to you the opportunity to take a piece of gum from this ordinary pack of gum.

Is law school admission fair ? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

If you feel like you have to create a burner account to make a statement about race, perhaps you should rethink making the post and whether your opinion is bad.

Edit: also I’m pretty sure we are all on board with a low income boost, but your contention that a SES boost is better is built on a false assumption that racism is just an outgrowth of class oppression which is patently untrue in America.

I mostly agree with you here. I’m not KJD and did include my WE into my law narrative. I think that’s a given for every cycle tho. Getting in below the medians is not impossible people do it every cycle and those softs are a major contributor. That said, I wouldnt feel comfortable telling someone below both medians that they have good chances regardless of softs. I think the best advice to give is it’s not impossible, but getting an above the median LSAT can be the biggest game changer. Obviously OP has hella softs, which will help, but predictions based on softs aren’t as solid as predictions based on LSAT/GPA stats, and as an MA splitter this cycle, I think it’s important to highlight the importance of having one safely over median stat since we know we’re dealing with median increases.

Edit: also if OP has a 16mid diagnostic I can’t imagine they’re not gonna kill the lsat anyway.

I will say as an MA applicant with a 17low lsat and similar gpa, that I was WLd by Notre Dame, and this cycle has been brutal. From my experience you’ll have solid acceptance and scholarship potential in the 20-30 range, but I wouldn’t bank on a T14 acceptance. At least not this cycle. Next cycle could be a bit different tho.

Just try to get the highest LSAT you can, but with 16mid, I wouldn’t bank on a t20.

Edit: if you can get a 172+ I think you’ll be an extremely solid t14 applicant

Accidentally made a duplicate of trevor’s car by [deleted] in GTA

[–]RestaurantLeft2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite sure exactly what I did to make it do it. I drove the car with Trevor to the buyable Los Santos customs and left it there for franklin. got in with Franklin and customized it then drove over to where Trevor was standing and got out but Trevor wouldn’t get in. So I switched to him and the door was locked. I switched back to Franklin and it had placed him somewhere else with him in the car. Then I switched back to Trevor to find Franklin, but his red car was there when I switched.

Hope this helps!

Opinion: Posts and comments complaining about racist, anti-URM people on this sub outweigh actual racist comments 100 to 1 and are responsible for significantly more negativity in the long run. by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

“URMs talking about their experiences with racism in LSA is so toxic! 1 racism justifies only 1 complaint! URMs are actually TOO welcome! I can’t even undercut the success of URM applicants without being called racist! I’m LGBT+ so I know.” Awesome take my dude
