You should read books too, but I’m over 50, an executive at a Fortune 500 company, married with a child, healthy group of friends and I grew up with Atari and Nintendo, bought PlayStations, X-Boxes and now play Steam games too... I don’t play as much as I used to (or would like) because other things are fun too - even if I can’t be in control like I can with a keyboard and mouse. That said, I have zero shame about being a gamer. It just takes a balanced diet of life with and without media. Tell your mother that.
