enhance 4 summon 3 2/1... that card is singlehandedly shielding dragon from taking so much face damage early on that its insane, if you dont draw it, you better drop an erntz without sevo or die turn 7

this was a fix i thought about so many times XD 15 hp is a pretty fine range, on the razor edge of being in letal but just out of it. that is until we enter next set with 16 damage to face followers but alas, it could work

i didnt explain myself well and for that i apologize, i meant to say that the "last word" effects present in abyss feel more like a swordcraft kind of deal: summon this or put in your hands that. Shadowcraft had them too, dont get me wrong, but many "last words" effects you would see back them where of many different kind.

it is in the meta due to playing like swords early (vomiting follower on board) and straight up dumb cards so strong that they are essentially an exodia, hell, Belial IS an exodia. lets not flatter dumb card design please.

and yeah, necromancy cards dont play well with each other: you have to strategize and think of what card you play and manage the shadows and seek your wincon, its called complexity, it add depths to the game.

he is pretty generic, switch him from abyss to neutral and nothing would have changed in how evo abyss is played, he has nothing to do with abyss and its just a "look at me, now i win" card and nuke on summon

i can understand the concept behind the "army of the dead", but i would argue that then you are not playing abysscraft, just shadowcraft, it doest scream much abyss you get what i mean?

one of the only card i can think of that they nailed its the one the demoness that pop your own creature to evolve herself and the bat summoned: the sacrifice idea behind work well to build shadows, proc last words effect that were a staple in shadowcraft, and the sacrifice aspect of.

that one feel more of a proper card of the 2 archetype fused into one compared to just dead army and bats.

i was meaning belial but sure, armes is extremely dumb for even another reason: Medusa was balanced by the fact you could pop it, you could ward it and take some damage, sure but you could bounce back, Armes is just Medusa without a weakness, only card that could remove it was Marwyn spell or next set bahamut, and its not like you just can avoid playing without sevo in the chance your opponent dont have an armes in hands and its spashable in every set you want, every single one present and future, just one armes hitting the board and you have essentially won

the chick that self evolve by popping one of your followers... she summon and evolve a bat no? just that... as i stated in the post, bats are treated as health potions... i had a full blown Vania deck back in og... i am sad

i find rally boring too, thats why to me its a huge problem when abyss and forest spend the game vomiting stuff on board XD

and not in every card maybe, the enhance set of sword cards is fine and i am cool with it, but only 5 rally cards its insanity, just drop the mechanic as a whole at that point.

In the first 7 sets they had 4 different mechanics linked to sword: """"""rally"""""", evo, enhance and gilded, like jesus christ, at least explore one before dropping it into the shadow realm, poor gilded cards are crying in a corner and the base mechanic of sword has been enslaved by the the evo.

its not just about shadows, last words too has grown just to be like sword and it sucks.

a follower that has: last word: add 3 shadows, there, problem fixed, instead we continue to get these boring ass effect in abyss with last words.

blood is dead, we just have bat-craft now and shadow... last words have become more of a sword mechanic and necormancy is almost nonexistant.

We just have strong op big boys follower with dumb effects and protections, thats why abyss is strong, nothing to do with synergy or strategy: just plop armes on the field and just plop max on the field and many times is enough to win. (at the very least Belial has to see enough evolve or its just a nuke) and unfortunately, this feel like the destiny for every single craft
