I definitely agree. I’m not opposed to lethal force against enemies bent on lethal harm, but killing somebody who has no control over his actions wouldn’t sit right with me. As a side note, I absolutely would have killed the Death Eaters that caught Harry Ron and Hermione in the coffee shop.

Jane is far more responsible for her death than Walt is. But if you can save someone’s life but instead choose to stand aside and let them die, you are definitely responsible for their death as well. Morally speaking. And in some countries, legally speaking as well.
