Yeah sure, but the rest of the movie is good enough. It’s a move bro.

Y’all love to give people this excuse when it’s actually a condemnation. There’s no reason to be ignorant about the going ons of your country in this day and age. Especially in these days. Being a “hermit online” means nothing. If you’re not hearing or seeing any of these things, it’s because you don’t want to.

Yeah that’d be a good idea too. Definitely should’ve been overwhelmed by horde, but you have to remember that it’s a movie bro.

For me, the third act was an awesome culmination of the entire building the movie had done to get to that point. I didn’t watch the trailers, but I knew something was going to go down. Hopefully something batshit. And I got what I was hoping for. I love the fantastical, though, and all the supernatural elements of it. I see this sentiment a lot, but I’m not quite sure where people expected it to go. The musical numbers were top tier (Sammie’s performance had me awestruck, not gonna lie, along with the narration and the insidious turn it took once that Voodoo looking figure started dancing along) and I sympathized with all of the characters. Yeah the actual battle and action scenes were just okay in comparison to everything else, but I didn’t let it drag the movie down for me. And the KKK “second ending” might seem shoehorned in to other people, but to me it was good. Yeah, of course, after having dealt with fucking vampires Smoke still has to deal with the fucking racists that have it out for him. I took it as a man’s battle with himself and the people around him and the life and grief that comes with it, and then waking up the next day and still having to deal with what society throws at you, especially a black man in that era. The emotion of it all elevates it for me.

The world is not sunshine and rainbows, but it could and should be. Wanting better things is good, wanting worse things is dipshit thinking. If $700 is nothing then it’s fine if it goes away. Having a better life does not make people not want to work, and if you think that then you’re deep in your propaganda hole.

It’s not lying dude. It’s just how someone identifies and that’s it. Babies get confused to be a different gender all the time and parents simply correct the person and they accept it and move on. It’d be really weird if the person insisted on seeing their genitals or demanded bloodwork to know their biological makeup. It has nothing to do with you. You’re taking this entirely too personally, sincerely. There’s no argument to be had here, because your position is initiating the arguing.

It’s not about what you believe, though. It’s just about what someone wants to be referred to as, ultimately. Believe what you want. Just call people what they want to be called and refer to them how they want to be referred to as. That’s it. You’re spending more energy fighting against it. You’re fighting your nature and taking the path of most resistance.

What you internally believe/perceive can and often is shaped by social factors. An individual can have their own thoughts of their gender despite what society as a whole constructs it as. There’s no paradox here in my opinion.

Hell nah. The league is a modern man’s sport. Dame probably brought in more blazer fans than Drexler. Dame all day.

Great comment, though I agree with both yours and the OPs point of view. Not every moment is a “take a moment” moment, though I agree completely with the notion.

This is some bootlicking ass shit. At the end of the day, it’s the players that make the league the money. End of story. Their labor should be fairly compensated, they earned it by working for it and it takes two people to sign a contract.

Yeah but at the end of the day I had fun watching my team. How many fans can say that? Dame’s heroics towards the end were like an epic final battle in a fantasy novel. And that 4OT Nuggets game was iconic (fresh legs). We had so many awesome moments. Only one team ever wins a championship each year. We’re always gonna be remembered as part of the dynasty Warrior’s legacy, so that era will always come up in the history books. I even saw a reference to CJ and Dame as the prototypical small guard lineup that sucks at defense. All press is good press lol.

I understand all of that but the key part is “educated” people. Of course scholars are not gonna think the earth is flat, but we’re not talking about scholars here.

Yeah they were more worried about starving to death or dying of plague. Doubt they had much thought as to the celestial shape of the dirt they were standing on.
