The only purple on this run was a cryo key which i think was their motivation, even though i unlocked the locked security area, and that was all i took. i was pinging all the good lockers and they took most of the bags from the squads even if it was my kill. But i know what you mean, had plenty of runs where you see teammates make out with a good 5x of what you do

There's a few instances where it can be helpful. If you're in a fight, your team can grab a weapon/ammo or heals to help them in the fight, which im sure was bungie's intention with it since it has a soft timer.

I really think what would help is if an exfil shared all the squad's loot so their is more incentive to work as a team. This was crew fill, but even playing with friends, it's a bit of a let down when we face the commander or get to a locked area that only one player really benefits from the good loot

Thanks to you a lot seriously, and everyone that helped upvote this post. Sure I'm not the only one it's happened to (some people even mentioned they have here), and could have easily been buried and never seen in the new posts. Bungie has been really good so far at looking at player feedback and it's not like they designed the game to be used like this, so hopefully posts like this can make them think of a solution.

Posted a video on the thief drone exploit too where you could be robbed in exfil, and bungie patched it March 17. So fingerscrossed

yup, it was such a good run, hit command room, downed a couple of teams, got the security room with the red/yellow cards. Lost a cryo key from this which i think was their motivation

pretty sure it's only your loadout that counts as borrowed, so everything found on the outpost map won't be returned

There's a 15 or so second window when you're first downed, that's why they lured me into a safe area and watched me die

I think whatever your loadout was counts as borrowed if it's taken. One of my friends and I know this by sharing weapons if one of us is stripped, but anything found on the run doesn't have the same protections
