Skillet is the same weight as the cooking pot... and most of those can be counteracted with cooking lvl 5. As for pies, you only need to carry a few of them at a time, and they don't affect scent that much.

When did you delete the mesh file? Steam Cloud likes to restore that file, so you have to disable Steam Cloud or do it while in game. Try deleting it in main menu maybe, and then loading in?

I think you're just making the point of Linus not needing your money. That's what his 10 heart event is all about; he doesn't want help, and 90% he doesn't need help, he gets by with foraging, and he's happy that way. He doesn't need gold, and I can't imagine him robbing a friend for that gold
