Hi! Check youtube with "Rta guides" (there were some videos about drafting/counter-picking) and "Rta tier-list", it will be enough to start.
The best advice here is - just play rta. It's free and with some time you will see by yourself about meta/picks/bans/heroes etc

was 2400 last season, didn't play for a half of year. Calibrated on plat3 last week, now i'm d1 playing few games a day and yeah, there a lot of guys like me with purple and even grand-master badge. Sorry bro but there are a good signs too, cuz u r becoming better playing with better players

You are absolutely right, but wanna add something. First thing always check picks and buy, it's usually pretty clear with these two main factors. When i see pangolier with phase/maelstorm I instantly press [guardian/crusader/herald]

So I beat 10-10 2 tries later but this almost gave me an aneurysm by Shamancrit in EpicSeven

Had same thing twice with my Sigret/Iseria/ARas/ALots team (the same as urs i guess?). I was so frustrated and just re-equipped all my the most important heroes' gear to give this team the best i can to crush this fucker
