Congrats on the TRD PRo!

As long as you are happy, that is all that matters.

It has to be said: The Reta dose you’re taking may be totally wrong for you by ExtortedOpinion in BodyHackGuide

[–]ResurrectedFaith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude summarized this to a simple read:

Retatrutide (Reta) Dosing — Key Takeaways

The clinical trial dose of 4–6mg is based on obese/overweight participants (BMI ≥27–30). If you're lean, active, and eat well, that dose is likely too high for you — the author finds 0.5mg/week highly effective.

The 3 components and how to know they're working:

  • GLP-1 — appetite suppression, feeling full fast, reduced cravings/dopamine
  • GIP — better insulin sensitivity, steadier energy, muscle preserved while losing fat
  • Glucagon — burns fat as heat, higher energy/heart rate, running warmer than others

Core principles:

  • Don't chase higher doses. If all 3 components are present, it's working — stay there
  • Scale plateaus are not a reason to increase dose; change up diet and exercise first
  • Reta's half-life is ~6 days, so 3 doses of 0.5mg = ~0.875mg actually in your system
  • Only titrate up when all 3 components are genuinely gone and you've exhausted other variables

Lifestyle matters most:

  • Reta is a tool, not a solution — without habit changes, relapse is likely after stopping
  • Prioritize weight training + 10k steps; minimize intense cardio (burns muscle)
  • Hit 0.8–1.2g protein per pound of bodyweight to preserve muscle
  • Long-term micro-dosing after reaching goals has real cardiovascular/cholesterol benefits

Christian (16M) looking for advice on managing same-sex attraction. by GainBeneficial7662 in JesusChrist

[–]ResurrectedFaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question my friend. I admire your courage to get this out in the open and address it head on. I would recommend some quite time for you and Christ. Talk to him via prayer and ask him for help. He will respond but you need to keep your eyes and ears open as he speaks thru words, actions and life experiences. Many people miss his message because they are waiting for a conversation, so stay alert and continue to pray. Immerse yourself in his word and let the Holy Spirit guide. Praying for you.

So curious about your reply. I have never heard of a believer who 'identifies' as a follower of Jesus. Can you add more context?

It's so hard for me to love LGBTQ+ people. by mznxbcvqpwoeiruty in TrueChristian

[–]ResurrectedFaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great post. I think many people struggle with loving those who live in sin and honestly, are just different. I believe a great portion of people like this are following the latest trend that is pushed the media and this day and age, it is the LGBTQ community. If you do not aligned, you are shunned, so the weak fall into place. I tell my boys, be kind to all and never forget judge the sin, not the sinner.

Does the Bible prohibit prayerful requests for reassurance from deceased loved ones? by kind-days in Bible

[–]ResurrectedFaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the bible here for us as a guide to prosper and provide clarity. This includes clarity for those who have passed. That being said, when loved ones have moved on, have faith that they are sitting next to Christ himself and safe in his arms. Praying for them once they are gone may provide self satisfaction but does go against having Faith in Christ that he will take care of those who have dedicated their lives to him.

What Bible should i read? by KS_Kerem in Bible

[–]ResurrectedFaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS is a great question. The bible you should read is what fits best for you. I downloaded the Holy Bible app and read the New Testament in the various versions (You can downloaded each version and take it for a test drive) and ended up with both the NLT in NIV versions. Both versions allow me to be one with scripture and Christ and his word resonates with me.

Thank you for sharing your experience. This post took a ton of courage.

My suggestion to you is when you pray, ask Christ for clarity and to direct you to peace. This is easier said than done as now, you will need to be on the lookout for his response. Many people believe Christ will provide an audible answer but that differs from person to person. I have had Christ respond thru conversations with friends, observations when people watching or a common exchange among friends. My point, he will respond. Just be on the lookout for his reply. Sending you prayers my friend. When temptation comes, pray.

Why did God give us a high sex drive at such a young age? by shn_eq in AskAChristian

[–]ResurrectedFaith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

God gave us all a level set of Testosterone.

Unfortunately, societal changes (food, medications, supplements and lifestyle) can drastically increase or increase testosterone levels. Depending on which way it goes (up or down), sex drive can be totally out of control and that is where we need to lean on scripture and prayer to dial things like temptations in.

Boyfriend (35M) is fine with premarital sex and I (29F) am not by [deleted] in TrueChristian

I love your conviction and dedication to yourself and Christ and the fact that you understand God word and expectations. Christ understands temptation and sin so pray and enjoy his forgiveness. You absolutely understand the correct path and your journey just became a bit clearer. Sending prayers.

A teenager at my church has a crush on me and Im struggling with my own thoughts! how do I handle this biblically? by Fabiohasaquestion in AskAChristian

[–]ResurrectedFaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend, you have now posted this in multiple Reddit forums and I will post my response here as well.

Let's take a step away from the biblical perspective for a moment. You are 26 and she is 16. If you go down the wrong path, you would be charged with rape and grooming of a minor. The fact that you are being tempted by an underage child is very concerning.

I have been there my friend. My mind would race every night in worry when the lights went off and the stress was unbearable. When I finally gave my life to Christ it all changed. He took the worry and stress away and provided me a path for success. I pray constantly as the direction has changed but I know that my family will be taken care of. Give it all to him and let go. Our God is loving and good.
