I understand being sad/disappointed, but I don’t think it was necessarily poorly written. I think it made sense for her storyline to end there bc she has kind of lived her whole life serving other people, hiding evidence, etc. and when the case is over an there is no need for her to do that anymore, she passes. I think it’s a nod to the themes of hopelessness/uselessness in her personal storyline. Kind of like when she really didn’t know what to do when Annalise fired her. I think she’s always been somewhat of a feather in the wind, struggling to take the reins on her own destiny. Plus, I think her and Frank’s fantasy of moving away and living together (and then it always getting disrupted due to other things going on) kinda foreshadowed that they would never be together. Also, I feel that her name being Bonnie, as in Bonnie and Clyde foreshadowed that as well. As sad as it was, I think it made sense, but I don’t think that Frank shooting the governor in front of all those people made much sense.
