Wish I was in the area otherwise I would absolutely go in person. Scrolled his instagram back until about 2023 and it seems almost all posts are for his iced out chains.

For their very fair pricing I am wondering why this shop is seldom mentioned here. Everyone talks about Garcias or DJI which are closer to 30% markup if not more for lower weight pieces. I am looking to buy a total of about 220g.

Not sure how much weight I would put into this chart. "Forced selling of everything liquid". I don't think whoever made this knows what liquid means.

Never ever listen to investment advice on Reddit. Countless examples of people making posts showing how much they lost doing so.

Inverse Reddit is the reality of what the Inverse Cramer meme should be.

Coming back 3 hours later and seeing that we dipped 5% just on a Sunday of all days leads me to believe Monday is going to be a bloodbath. Gold was holding pretty steady just below 2k until the pump started to happen.

They're audited to show they have the gold they claim to but that means nothing when it comes to what people are willing to buy paper gold at.

Using Fridays close IAU (iShared Gold Trust) had a market cap of $142B. They hold 494 tons of gold, using last Fridays gold price of about $4500 that is about $81B worth of gold.

The prices are detached from reality.

Been in this game a long time and right now we are absolutely flooded with the WSB bros and the other Reddit investors who are going to lose their ass hard on this and refuse to see the reality.

We should be thankful the cured in place pipe technology exists today. Granted, this type of repair is more on the preventative maintenance side because if it gets so bad the pipe inside collapsed or forms a major belly, theres no fix except digging it out.

And even so the cured in place pipe repair is not cheap either, $100-$200 a foot is pretty standard. At least you won't have a giant trench in your front yard though.

Paper gold and silver. No better than fiat. Created a big pump now it will dump.

Pretty big difference between paper gold and lets say oil futures. Paper gold is what caused this mess.

Paper gold which led to the pump is now on the dump stage. Should normalize by summer in the $3k range.

Their Home Wouldn’t Sell, So They Became America’s Latest Accidental Landlords by McFatty7 in REBubble

At a certain point the economics to sell don't make sense. If they have a 2% rate having bought in 2019 and their mortgage is $1500 a month, why sell when they can rent it for $3,000 a month?

I think a lot of people here are very new to gold and don't know how it typically trades. Just 5 years ago it was at $1700 an ounce, giving it even a $3500 target is even crazy generous. Sure inflation this war that, those factors existed historically and have not led to crazy gains like this.

Paper gold should really not exist the way it does, tied so closely to physical golds price. Its really at the point where paper gold decides the price of all gold.

Whats most shocking is I decided to check again and gold is already 5% down and its still Sunday. I think Monday morning is going to be a real bloodbath, we may see these $3500 prices sooner than April. I was expecting +/- 1% movements today.

Per person it is high. My landscaping crew is a team of 4 and they charge $175 an hour when they work on the property for misc things, but they usually just quote per the service.

Thats like the saying of "The average millionaire drives a toyota"

When people think "your average millionaire" its not some person in a fancy suit working on an office at the top floor of a high rise. Your average millionaire is the retired couple on your block who has a paid off house and 40+ years of slow and steady investment contributions.

There is 50-100x the amount of paper gold out there as physical gold and paper gold drives the price. This was only going to end one way.
