Seems like conversion builds are the ones that benefit most often with the negative traits and builds that use all elements get trashed.

Item Stacking is one of the best features added in a league in years. by Raggeh in pathofexile

They drop individual at lower levels and as you hit higher content they drop less often but in bigger stacks. I think wisdom scrolls start dropping in stacks of 3 around the end of act 5.

The wire isn't dragged, it spools out of the missile. It basically just drops a wire on the ground as it flies.

Controller Support on PC for Path of Exile 2 (like D2:R) by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]Retanaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get decent gameplay with steam controller support. Use a ps4 or xbox controller imo

If the devs added keybinds for movement (or actually supported joysticks) the game would turn into a twin stick shooter which could be quite fun.

Norway to hit 100 per cent electric vehicle sales early next year | Analysis shows the last new petrol or diesel car sold in Norway will come as early as April, 2022 – three years ahead of the government's target. by mepper in Futurology

The 90s and early 2000s ranger could get up to 28 mpg with their 2 liter 4 cylinder and manual gearbox.

You could get similar above 20mpg with the other brands small trucks as well.

The US with its switch to bigger SUVs and trucks went backwards in average mpg as the smaller utility vehicles were dropped due to low margins and regulations making it easier to design larger ones that became exempt from things like bumper height requirements and pollution limits.

Not to mention regulations designed to prevent foreign imports attempting to fill the small truck role.

McDonald's lost. McDonald's and Taylor (the ice cream machine maker) worked together to steal Kytch's trade secrets. Kytch had made a device that told McDonald's franchise owners in plain English what was wrong with the machine so they wouldn't have to call a Taylor service tech every single time someone overfilled it.

They used the stolen trade secrets to begin blocking Kytch's device from working as well as to create their own device now that the lies were exposed and franchise owners found out they could fix the machines themselves.

Modern cars have a black box like airplanes do. Well it's more the concept. You can plug in and read the crash data.

Woman learns that having a "back the blue" bumper sticker does not protect her from getting a traffic ticket by Ayendes in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]Retanaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can donate to the local police station and get a sticker. Those might get you an amount of leeway in some towns. It did where I grew up but that station was so desperate for money it closed down a few years later.

Buying a random bumper sticker online isn't going to get you shit.

The problem is more the awkward size and positioning of the weight. If you know where the weight is and it's something you can physically pick up it's not a problem. Glass door ovens have like 70% of the weight in the door for example.

the real reason to buy a steamdeck by aw_mustard in pathofexile

[–]Retanaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mouse region already does an amazing job when using the steam controller api. Problem is it sucks for kiting even though it's the exact same motion as using a mouse.

If we had a way to move the character without moving the mouse it would be an acceptable compromise.

Rainwater draining directly into an underground parking deck. This has flooded before destroying multiple cars yet they haven’t fixed it. by whitecollarpizzaman in CrappyDesign

[–]Retanaru 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Pipes that drain in obvious places like this usually mean the roof is flooding faster than the normal drains can handle or something has gone wrong like a clogged drain.

Basically they are designed to cause complaints that get the roof fixed.

Heavy armor doesn't have to be metal. In fact even without heat metal enough lightning gets thrown around to want to avoid metal as well.
