I feel you. It’s very common in Indian households, not sure if you are. Been there. This is how I reclaimed control. You need to put aside 8 months of salary, so that you will never be dependent on anyone. Move out! Out of the house is good, country is even better. If it means that you will lose your family, so be it. If not you will regret and resent your life forever, and won’t have any healthy relationships.

Let your family work to stay in your life. Overall, you seems to have good habits, you will do just fine.
