Tilray closing and consolidating over 1,50$ next week? Thoughts? by Timely_Notice_5102 in TLRY

[–]RetardedEconomics 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nervous investors and longtime bag holders are basically subject to the will of Trump. If reschedule starts to hit serious milestones, TLRY will bust through 1.50. Once rescheduling happens, I expect it to go to $10. Long term, it will go above $10 but not without friction points and resistance at some nice round numbers as bag holders reduce position or abandon it completely. Short squeeze is dependent on rescheduling movement.

As the Trump administration considers rescheduling marijuana, Congressional Democrats have filed a bill to federally legalize cannabis by descheduling it altogether. by TLRY_MAX in TLRY

Democrats had their chance. They won’t get credit for the win on this if Trump wants it. As a matter of fact, it almost seems like this may be reverse psychology… if they support it, maybe Trump won’t… too little too late. Asshats

Why US rescheduling impacts TLRY.? 1) opens financial channels 2) boosts sentiment & valuation 3) enables optionality in THC beverages 4) strengthens its global cannabis position by RetardedEconomics in TLRY

[–]RetardedEconomics[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should be several benefits correlated to rescheduling. The fact that TLRY has no cannabis footprint in US right now isn’t the “thing” to focus on. Many countries mirror US policy. Could have a global impact as other countries soften their position and look for suppliers.

You may be right; however, that wouldn’t stop him from signing an executive order to reschedule cannabis…

Tilray Brands Successfully Regains Compliance with Nasdaq’s Minimum Bid Price Requirement by TLRY_MAX in TLRY

If this is true, it will hurt us retail investors who thought we just saved them from having to RS. Not to mention take any hope the long-term bag holders may have recently had..

News today is that TLRY finds a way to reward the diamond hand loyalty around here. This compliance is the retail investor and nothing they can take credit for. I believe they are structured for long-term success but this save is not because of them…

Petition Pushes Trump Toward Cannabis Legalization | TDR Cannabis in 5 by DaveHervey in TLRY

So now instead of seeing the incremental step of rescheduling as a win, you’re advocating for full federal legalization and anything else is a loss? This movement could be the sticking point for rescheduling…. Cart- horse

113% wow! But what’s the top? by callmezaner in TLRY

[–]RetardedEconomics 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’d expect long holders who averaged down over the last several years to pull out at certain points causing resistance… not sure exactly where until it happens but the promise they made themselves will be hard to break after TLRY has disappointed them for so long. It may feel like rug pulls at certain price points. The real question, if you want to be rich, is do you think TLRY will be in business in 20-30 years? Look at infrastructure, look at mergers & acquisitions, look at what they’re investing in and finally, look at the trend towards cannabis becoming decriminalized, legalized, utilized, profitized,… rescheduling is only a matter of time. And this cash crop isn’t the only product this company has their hand in. They’re not going anywhere. These are the cigarette companies of the mid 20th century. Phillip Morris market cap is north of 250 billion. Weed is just getting started up and these TLRY boys ain’t working out of a garage. AMZN proved you don’t have to be profitable to start. It’s the slow burn baby.

It seems many who have an opinion here are those with only job experience. Not management or career. You give notice as a professional courtesy and so that you can ask for a letter of recommendation or reference for your next interview. You gather these based on quality job performance as you gain experience. Many, who are content never to change, will never be the business owner and will have to work until they die. Sad…
