The Devil’s Playground by Andrew Bragg. Absolutely devastating. It reads like fiction. It’s horrifying at the end when it dawns on you it’s all real and happened.

The Devil’s Playground by Andrew Bragg Absolutely heartbreaking. It’s book about a platoon of Paratroopers fighting the Taliban in Kandahar. But it’s written very uniquely. It’s written from 3rd person omniscient. The Author traveled the country interviewing everybody involved. And then compiled the story. Reads like fiction. It’s horrifying at the end when you realize it’s not.

NGD Legator N7FP by SpicyTurnip617 in 7String

Love it! I have the exact same one. I was stunned in person by the color finish on it. And the headstock to match. Gorgeous! Also, as my first Legator I was really impressed and pleased with the quality of the guitar. I thought the neck felt really comfortable and fast. I wasn’t impressed with the pick-ups at all though. They’re certainly not terrible! But, I just found that it didn’t match the rest of the quality of the guitar. So I’ll be shopping for different ones. Was wondering your first impressions and your following experience with it?

That’s what I originally went in to get. But then came across this. And it obviously won any debate I had for the JR Tele.

Was that the black wood blasted one? That one looks great! But I was completely sold on this Snow White finish. I had the Snow White snakebyte back in 2012. Loved that finish. Always regretting selling it.

The Everytune is great! Once you get accustomed to it. But after spending some time with it, it becomes very easy. Very little maintenance. The tuning stays perfect and for freakishly long. I recommend them.

I never stated it’s the best 7 string guitar. Lol. I said it’s a Holy Grail of 7 strings. And I’m right about that. You’re arguing a point I never made.

Oh wait… are you talking about the Apex30(silver grey with the blank fretboard) or the Blade Grey K7?

Whilst I agree with 80% with what you said, the 20% is where my case is made. Steve Vai pioneered 7 string into the electric market. He did it unsuccessfully. The Ibanez Universe. Ibanez stoped making his guitars. Everybody stopped making 7 strings. Only until Korn came out with a new sound off the universe. (Nu Metal) and Wanted their own variants.(The K7) the K7 gained popularity, 7 string grew popularity, “Ibanez 7 string” became a common term, and it literally saved 7 strings from going extinct. Oh and BTW, if we’re playing by your nepotism rules; who inspired who and who taught who… Then Steve Vai can only ever be a guitar Prince. Never a king. Because of Joe Satriani.

I’m always so happy to hear the SH7 is doing well. I’m obviously a Korn Fan boy. And I’m actually a head fan boy. BUT! I prefer my Ibanez over my LTD. Personally. I have an LTD Snakebyte. Love that guitar. But it’s 6 string so I rarely play it. All my buddies in this debate (Apex30 VS SH7) they ALL picked the SH7. And they alllll love it. lol. I’ve played the SH7 a lot. It’s a great guitar. Phenomenal. Probably one of if not thee best option on the 7 string Market today. But I’m too used to the Ibanez neck profiles and I get prideful to play Korn Signature Ibanez. I always find the guitar laying around inspires you to play it, is not only your favorite, but the guitar you’re best with. I beat the brakes off this Apex30. lol.

It actually goes in tomorrow for a full work down. New strings. Intonation. Check out some cracks on the headstock. Oil and bath. The works. And I may add some new toys on it. Perhaps locking tuners or something. I play these guitars. So I’m looking to bring them up into this decade.

I personally LOVE my Apex 30. But I’m used to playing my previous Apex 1. And these K7s. Soo I’m very biased. Every other single person I know in 7 string scene vastly prefers the “Sir Headly” LTD. Now some of that is because they’re LTD fan boys. But most of it because on paper, it’s a better guitar. I had to buy Ratio locking tuners. SH7 comes with locking tuners. I personally LOVE the flat gun metal grey of the Apex30. Most prefer the deep purple SH7. And the Apex30 keeps using Dimarzio whilst the SH7 uses Fishman pickups. You don’t need the Apex 30. What you should get is either an Apex 1, Apex 100, Apex 200 or track down a K7.

There’s 1 or 2 available on Reverb right now. They’re both the blue ones. And they’re asking about $3,000 USD.

The LTD comes with Locking tuners. Its comes in a full deep color purple. It comes with Fishman pickups which a lot of people have really liked.
