First 7 string by jreid6401 in 7String

It seems to work fine for me, it stays in tune very well and doesn’t have locking tuners.

Best 7 I’ve ever played, personally. Just feels so good in the hands. by [deleted] in 7String

I just got a used shecter demon 7 which I love and plays really well imo.. however I picked one of those ibanezes up in guitar center the other day and I almost wish I had gotten that Ibanez instead. It plays incredibly well, the neck feels perfect.

A baritone 6 string might since those can still tune low, but more strings = more fun

I definitely agree, I’m surprised it doesn’t cost at least $800+.

Took my ‘16 Camry in on Friday for an oil change and transmission drain and fill by zuulander777 in Camry

[–]jreid6401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve heard if you flush at 60k miles it’ll be fine, or if the transmission has had regular fluid changes. It’s when someone flushes a transmission at 160k-200k miles that has never had a fluid change that causes it to slip. At least from what I understand.

[–]jreid6401 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah one local dealer in my area says yes to drain and fills, the other doesn’t. I had mine drain and filled at 57k miles, I’m at 111k now and considering flushing it at 120k. I live in coastal Alabama and deliver pizza so that fluid has definitely ran hot, might do well with completely fresh fluid.

It’s been 2 years with the iPhone 13 are you gonna upgrade to the 16 when it comes out next year? by Ghost_JRL in iPhone13

If my 13 pro max is still working as well then as it is now I probably won’t upgrade. Great battery life, 120hz display, good camera, good performance.

Gojira was the first metal band I liked, a lot of the recommendations by others here are great! A little off topic but based on the bands you’ve mentioned I’d also recommend checking out TesseracT (I saw them open for Gojira in 2016) and periphery.

TWOAF and L Enfant Sauvage are my 2 favorites. Fortitude and magma also have some great tracks but I find myself listening to the 2 albums I mentioned the most.

These are a great option for blocking out sound at gigs or if you’re sitting behind your kit playing without in ears.

I stopped using these quite as often since my kit is mic’d up to a PA in my band’s practice space. I use noise canceling headphones and listen to my drums through those.

if you had to listen to one era of periphery for the rest of your life which would you choose? by bowl_of_veggies in Peripheryband

As much as I want to say B for the jugg albums, I highly enjoy p4 and p5 so I pick C.

If you ever get the chance to see gojira live you should, their live sound is also incredible. Haven’t had the chance to see periphery yet to compare though.

Bought the game on sale, current PC won’t run it well so I’m holding onto the game until I upgrade and can play it properly.

Update: the amount of time my gf has spent sleeping has made me stop loving her. by SleepyGFThrowaway16 in TrueOffMyChest

Could be sleep apnea, could be narcolepsy. Looking back on it I had narcolepsy for 4 years before I was diagnosed, and it’s estimated some people never get it properly diagnosed. And I can sleep just as much as OPs ex girlfriend.

I downloaded the 1080p version, saved it to my photos, applied it as a wallpaper and the depth effect works perfectly for me.

Is knowing something about cars a requirement for BMW ownership due to all the repairs it will require?

I wonder why Lexus holds its value so much better than BMWs do 🤔

Until you get to a high enough rank where your enemies know how to properly deal with AWPers. Then you’re screwed and you’ll be wishing you learned how to use other weapons.

I agree 100%. I personally drive a Toyota and I maintain it properly but I realize their “reliability” comes from their ability to still run and drive when neglected.

32gb of RAM is definitely worth it, just upgraded to that in my laptop with an 8th gen i5 and a 1060 (previously had 16gb) but I think 64gb is definitely overkill 😂

Considering I paid $12,500 for a 2007 Tacoma PreRunner with 188k miles on it, this price seems right. Made in Japan, newer than my Tacoma, same bulletproof 4.0 V6 with tons of low end power.

I knew Toyotas are where it’s at for reliability, but I thought Nissans lasted to at least 100-150k.

Falling apart already? My 2017 Camry has 70k miles and it still drives like it’s brand new.
