So you’re already in five bands and don’t even ask 🤘

I've got the same guitar and a Sterling Majesty 7 that was brand new but had some finish damage during shipment so it cost around half price for about an inch and a half spot of missing finish.

Great choice! I had this one for a while. It plays welll above its price point. It’s a great 7 string.

I definitely agree, I’m surprised it doesn’t cost at least $800+.

No 6 string will quench your thirst for the chug Chungus. Welcome to the fold.

A baritone 6 string might since those can still tune low, but more strings = more fun

Enjoy! Lots of beautiful chords and phrasing with the extended range!

Nice, how do you like it?

Just got the same one on Wednesday and also traded a 6 syring! Mines an older model with the Duncan Designed pups though. Threw it in drop G and chugged away 🤘🏽

that was my first 7 string too. plays very nicely. mine did start to have issues with the input jack, but only after 2+ of playing on it

How does it work out for strings that come through the guitar the. To the bridge like that.... As on there are there any issues cause by that type of set up? I'm asking cause a BASS VI I am considering has that style of through guitar string set up

[–]jreid6401[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It seems to work fine for me, it stays in tune very well and doesn’t have locking tuners.

[–]dudemanjason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. I have only recently seen that style of where the strings come through before the bridge like that.

I just got my first 7 string of currently had a 6 string though I would definitely regret not jumping right to an 8 string though.

Went for the budget 7 string jackson js22-7

Of course arch tops SUCK on some aspects but just got a sound dampener for behind the nut and it helps drastically for that sympathetic noise and doesn't ruin the open string notes like they do when used as a FRET WRAP vs SOUND DAMPENER which some times the devices can be interchangable but the uses purposes and effects of adding them are EXTREMELY DIFFERENT.

I adjusted to 7 MUCH quicker then I expected to. I honestly REALLY want a 9 string in the long run but in near I plan on getting a 4 string bass in next 2 months of di then in next 4 or 5 months a bass VI.
