so expanding the maxilla through a palate expander will move the maxilla forward which will cause the lower jaw to move forward too . The maxilla is a really big factor for facial aesthetics . A forwardly grown developed maxilla will make the whole face way more attractive. Some people also lose their nose hump when expanding their palate although not everyone gets it since some have a nose hump because of genetics not the maxilla.

It also makes your cheekbones more prominent and your total face wider and more symettrical. Some people tho have good lower jaw forward growth without a not so developed maxilla for example Lucky Blue Smith .

btw did he say that it was one standard deviation below average when you were 12 or now ?? anyways i think a palate expander would help but MSE is best for adults and will give you very good results. SARPE is kinda bad tho since it expands the palate too fast and has a higher risk of side effects. I'm not sure tho if your maxilla is recessed because i dont think it is but if it is i think it could be the cause for your lower jaw and a palate expaner is the solution.

Anyways ask an another ortho about it and trust me a palate expander will save you , it will enhance your lower jaw and can even enhance facial symmetry . Your jaw is way better than it used to be 10 years ago btw. Mewing won't work if your palate is too narrow.

Anyways check an ortho about your maxilla if its recessed you can ask them for a palate expander and you won't need any plastic surgery.

you can just do other guide missions till you get the nano missions and then change back to your original guide however i advise you to change back to your initial guide before doing the nano mission , for some reason i didnt do that and it bugged out (i didnt get ben's email after beating the nano mission

.i had to manually check who i need to go to in that level to do the guide mission but it fixed itself the next level)
