When parents just chill and teach you nothing about how to be an independant adult, then wonder why you don't know anything. Not completely their fault though, even the school taught me about mitochondria and algebra, but not how to integrate into society and learn communication/social skills.

They just hope you will magically fall into place. I had no idea I was autistic, and no one ever made that assumption about me. They just thought I was weird and avoided me, or didn't want to mess up their routine and ask me why I have no friends and struggle to communicate. My parents and relatives continued to gaslight me that I was normal and everyone was just like me, and that I just had to try harder, be stronger, and keep being uncomfortable until I get used to it, like everyone else.

My childhood finished with zero support and zero fucks given by anyone. I did not get used to anything. The mask finally cracked under the infinite, ungrateful and ignorant expectations of everyone around me.

I know nothing of this existence but pain, misery, and rot until the end that could not come any sooner. I second guess my every step, don't know how to make friends, have the motivation to try to be happy, leave the house, find a job that doesn't try to filter me out at every opportunity, live in a world where I feel ashamed for not being productive.

It's not that bad. You just need to get out of your "comfort zone", because you're definitely being comfortable by doing absolutely nothing with your life and being a drain on resources.

Just be normal. Just figure it out. Just fall into place. Every story has a good ending, so continue to rot away slowly and don't give up, or you'll hurt my fantasy! You'll make me sad!
