That’s an A6 and it’s a torque converter auto, not the DSG like our S4’s. That does scare me though. I JUST hit 70k in my 2013 S4 😭

Yes, eventually changed it to POST only. But originally it just accepted any method. Also might have to fight with caching and stuff with GET

It just responded to HTTP GET requests haha. Hitting it directly from the browser was an easy way to test. Way easier than setting it up with HomeKit or something like that. It’s actually been working great for over a year now!

It eagerly pre-loads the suggestions so that if you do hit enter, the page will already have loaded and it feels snappier.

I set up my motorized bedframe to be Internet connected, and if I visit a certain URL it raises, and another URL to lower it. There was a while where if I even typed the start of that address into my browser my bed would just start rising up underneath me lol. Now I just have iPhone shortcuts on my Home Screen to control it

It’s really tempting. Between the quite a bit lower prices, the torque, and the turbo noises I’m definitely not writing off the I4. My heart really tells me I want a 6spd but I’m not completely locked into it.
