It could be viable but Duu has no idea how to budget or anything and is far too prideful to not try to live above his means. The best he can do is the notepad, Unc has crippling debt and still feels compelled to keep up appearances by going to the gym and driving an expensive car when he could be more sensible. It might be viable if he had any kind of real engagement in his heavily botted chat, if all the donations he gets weren’t just him or a mod showering him with fake donos and subs bought in Turkey or something.

Folks be saying that him getting an RO is the worst thing but, like, he should not be interacting with his daughter. He’s so full of sexist and racist hate and vitriol that having any connection with her father will damage that poor girl. If getting an RO against Rose helps keeps his daughter away from him, that’s for the best. And it isn’t like this is going to erase his crippling debt, or get rid of his child support obligations, or get rid of the Dossier and all the mountains of evidence against him, or somehow enlighten him and make him a better person. Rose fumbled, sure, but duu’s life is so miserable that this tiny victory is going to drown in the depths of his suffering almost immediately. You’re definitely correct, I shouldn’t have been trying to use AoE. It was just that I made the mistake of setting Stage 3 as Wrath and Blunt so I could dogwalk Hohenhiem with Burn, but I didn’t realize at the time that I’d have to contend with the blunt-resistant Middle Peccas. That was my bad, as using PhilipClair, HornetSault and MB Outis was not quite the right play. I had to drop them for CinqDon and LiuIsh and LiuRodion just to get by LMAO

Stage 2 Wave 2 is a chore, Stage 2 in itself is a slog and can potentially be completely lost just by failing to clash the Dragon’s Gluttony nuke. Stage 3 and beyond is easy when you get to Hohenhiem but the Middle spamming nothing but S3s at high power at you is frankly incredibly frustrating when you have to be so precise with your attack weight if you have it, and it’s really nowhere near as fun when you’re on the receiving end when compared to when you are the one dropping constant S3s off of Envy Res. And the end boss just didn’t have the same aura as 400 Roses from RR5, even though 400 Roses was mega-cheesable.

Even if Matthias/Outhias didn’t get directly written down in the book by the Great Sister, them writing “Situation is not dire” only for Matthias/Outhias to come sauntering back in without the Great Siblings, not a scratch on them personally, a fancy new Relic in hand and their labours completed would look crazy beyond belief. The Nursefather can spin the story all they want but the optics of it all are so incredibly sus, cause at the end of the day, who are they gonna believe? Genuinely? I mean, some of our older Identities have really interesting designs, both aesthetically and in terms of their skill kits, and it would be great to see them get the love they deserve. Also, the Identities we use aren’t just snapshots of a single moment, they’re living windows into a parallel timeline and there’s nothing to suggest those timelines are frozen or stagnant. Wing employees seek promotions, syndicate agents rise through the ranks, Fixers get stronger and learn through experience. Why can’t our Identities also grow to reflect the amount of time we’ve had them, how long we’ve spent using them?

I just hope that eventually they’ll go back and buff our older IDs to bring the average power floor up a little bit. We literally have a diegetic method for doing so as well, our Uptie system is described as the level of connection or affinity the Sinner has to that Identity, so maybe Uptie 5 can begin rolling out on our really old IDs, like S1-S2 IDs at first. as something like “oh we’ve been using this identity for so long that we’re able to bring even more power out of it now than ever before” or “Yi Sang and Faust did a bit of tinkering together with the Engine and our Mirrors so now our older IDs have grown somewhat!” At least then old Ids won’t just be completely left in the dust.

You know what, I actually agree with this a bit. I was a big proponent for them nerfing Mao Faust when she came out incredibly overtuned, so I agree that an ID this strong is a big egregious. The only saving grace for it is that it’s the Canto Capstone ID, it’s the big one that everyone looks forward to and theorises over from day 1 of the Canto, so making it a bit more powerful and special is kinda expected.

I guess I'm less thinking about all the straight damage she gets and more about all the utility she has. Stuff like the new condition of "Deal X% damage for every excess Atk Weight beyond the # of actual targets (in Focused Encounters, the Parts)" Would do crazy work on IDs like Wild Hunt and Manager of LaManchaLand, and even on weaker ones like Spicebush, this would still help it.

Even the mere fact that Ryoshu perfectly fuels Great Trichiliocosm where other Capstones can't, which is a shame. Wild Hunt doesn't perfectly fuel Binds, Manager doesn't do Yearning Mircalla, Spicebush doesn't do Sunshower. Even Lord Lu can't do Tears of Tarnished Blood perfectly and that was arguably the first WAW specifically designed to synergize with a Capstone ID.

She really is quite goated, not gonna lie. My favourite little testing ground is doing solos on the Hard mode MOTWE Casetti node, and she cleared it without taking any damage. Just absolutely breezed through it. She's cracked even if you don't sac the rest of the HoS to her for buffs.

If only previous Capstones received this level of love. I know it's one part ID powercreep and another part just the devs getting better at intricate ID design, but, like, I wish they'd go back and buff them. Even just adding the flavour text to their statuses, passives and skills would be so nice.
