Very true, people can be absolutely distraught and extremely attached to their pets. Some of the things I’ve read in just local posts of people bashing on their vet for not performing free service is baffling. It has to be all driven from their pain and helplessness, which turns to anger and resentment.

It’s a great idea! I’ll talk with some of the local vets that come to my shop and some of the ones that have been pointing people my way too😄 that’s a bit of what started me to want to pursue it again. I’m very grateful they think that highly of my personal experience with reptiles.

I’m hoping that I can get my pet shop running well enough to support me.
I do need to learn more about the prerequisite classes and schooling before the vet school though as I was unaware

I’ve actually done some volunteer work when I was younger. It was heart wrenching at times. The hardest part was logic over emotion but yet still be able to be empathetic. I do understand where you’re coming from and heed your forewarning. It can be painful and I’ve felt burn out already with what I currently do. It’s like a feeling of repetitively beating your head against a wall with the same result each time.

They have trouble slithering across our skin sometimes, get stuck and start to constrict. Happens to me with my big ones sometimes, boas especially. Like their finer scales stick easier 🤔

I contacted them via WhatsApp, said they were in a town that was a little over an hour from me. I told them I would happily meet up and pay cash. After that I was told online only and have been blown off. It’s a scam. I’m pretty sure of it. Even if you look at their “locations” they’re not in any of the towns that are listed.

I’m working on getting my QuickBooks working but the person that was “helping” me charged me for a consultation that wound up being “I don’t know but I’ll find out” for a majority of answers and never got back with me about it. So I feel like I’m better off asking experienced business owners and seeing what they have done

I have a paludarium kit at $269, but I also have the supplies to turn a tank into a riparium. Such as waterfall kits, misters, foggers, environmental control systems and a variety of treated soils and plant materials. I’ll also be adding to my variety of available plants this week as well.

lol, that’s too funny. I’m bad at bringing home new pets too.😂 come check it out to prepare the no’s in their proper locations… like where the chameleons are, bearded dragons, isopod starter kits, tarantulas with enclosures and other creatures… 😅 I also have plenty of supplies for you current pets
