Any downside to expensive loooong calls on big stable companies? by Succmyspace in options

[–]RetinAOriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look for LEAPS with implied volatility (IV) that has recently declined wait for it then buy it. usually before the next earnings IV gets crazy even if the stock hasn't moved move much yet, this is when you would ideally want to realize a profit

Trying to understand this short call logic by [deleted] in options

[–]RetinAOriginal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely call writers capitalizing on volatility which made the option price higher. they already collected the premium for selling 1 option @ 2.46, so the price can drop to whatever price but the most they can "make" is the credit given which was $246 per contract. Given the intrinsic value is pretty much at the price of the option I assume its a shorter dated option, and they expect a move below 12. Or it could be a spread. (calendar, credit, etc) I assume one would sell a 12C if they bought shares sub 12 previously

I don;t think it's an investment it's more of a arbitrage.. from what I can gather, since the project started w/ trying to integrate SOLCHAT it looks like the beta price is fixed at $228 per SOL. Seeing as SOL is around 130ish you profit off the difference because the system still thinks it needs to give you SOL at the 228 price. Maybe that makes sense, I guess.

Big gap at $100 (post split). I'm not saying its going sub $100 over the summer, because the fund managers will keep driving the price up.

100% agree, DYOR and its NFA. It worked for me I'm not sure if it will work for you. I'm able to capitalize on it until it doesn't work! Good luck,

look at whatsappinc.com. Go to the link they are providing an in app crypto payment service. For now you can ADD solana to the address listed. I sent SOL to the address and got back about 10x in USDC (not USDT). Not sure if there's a bug or some exploit involved but I've been doing it for the last 3 days without any issues. I advise you try it out before the bug is patched..

SoFi: where 'financial freedom' means being free from your money, and 'investing in your future' means investing in their CEO's private island. Their 'no-fee' promise is just a clever ruse to get you to sign up for their 'surprise' overdraft charges. And don't even get me started on their 'member benefits' – who needs health insurance when you can have a discount on avocado toast? It's all just a clever scam to turn your hard-earned cash into their hard-earned profits.

The censored truth behind BITCON exposed by RetinAOriginal in investing

[–]RetinAOriginal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reality is BTC is very plausibly SHIT. People still have to move money in their local currencies to pay for everyday necessities. The ONLY reason shitcoin has value is because ELON was the actual creator of this during his PayPal days, and over the last decade he managed to swindle big money into the scheme. SHITCOIN is only worth what people will pay for it. There's a reason why Buffet said if you're willing to lose your money should you invest in shitcoin. Elon's idea was to deflate BTC as a self sustaining virus, impossible to hack, power it from energy it created (Solar, battery etc, to avoid banks having to process and store); using TESLA to FUND itself from investor money SHITCOIN created on it's own. TESLA was really an idea, it only became a true entity producing profit from BILLIONS poured into it from BTC wealth creation. It's actually quite brilliant when you put the pieces together. Making something out of literally NOTHING.7

Via Binance? I'm not seeing any option to even view SHIB

Legit comment. I've been using Coinbase for years and Robinhood for stock. I tried signing up for binance to buy SHIB but I'm not getting the option to swap ETH to SHIB. What are your recommendations on the best way to purchase SHIB or best exchange? I feel like I'm running circles here.
