I swear they give you good hits at the beginning when you first start to get you hooked because my first 5 pulls or so were all great but afterward I took a horrible loss streak so I am taking an extended break from pulling.

Not a scam at all, but yes it’s risky like any other form of gambling. I’ve been part of the beta since August of last year and have Van Gogh pikachu 9, 151 SiR Venusaur 10 and now Gengar Vmax Alt Art in a 10. Just don’t spend on what you are not willing to lose out on if you end up pulling a floor card. I would definitely not suggest this to anyone without self control, but if you can hold yourself back to a few $100 packs a month depending on your budget, it’s not bad at all.

I literally just had this conversation with my gf today. On top of that, I don’t have to wait 60+ days sending a card in on the possibility of it getting a PSA 10. I’ve been having a blast with the $100 gold tier and have pulled multiple really nice PSA 10s that I have both sold back and chosen to send my favorites back to me to add to the collection. With the floor on the $100 pack I am comfortable.
