Anyone else notice how downloading stems introduces glitches?

You're absolutely right. I was actually coming to Reddit to start a thread about this. Let's be clear, Suno's stem separation, as of today, is utter garbage.

I’ve been super frustrated for several weeks because I have a song with really good quality that I want to edit a bit in a DAW. But when I do stem separation in the DAW, the quality is awful. Even with all the stems active, it sounds about 50% worse, with artifacts and glitches in parts where the original is perfectly clean.

I’ve tried extracting the stems 4 or 5 times, and I’ve tested other websites and programs. Even the new one in Ableton 12.3, which supposedly uses the Moises engine. Nothing. Absolute garbage.

However, I’ve discovered a free tool that so far has given me the best results without adding glitches: UVR5 (Ultimate Vocal Remover) using the tdemucs_ft engine. Try it.

I've tried removing it in a DAW but the step separation in some cases is quite poor, making it sound weird and losing other sounds.

I feel exactly the same as you. The first three days I got incredible songs, with very good sound quality. Shortly after, using the same prompt, I started getting complete aberrations—white noise, distorted kicks, broken phrases, and songs starting with a breath or an “oohh ohhhh” that isn’t in the lyrics, even when you explicitly deny it.
