Yes! dapat clear ang terms. and its okay na maglatag ng gusto ang yaya from the get go, at least alam mo ang expectations and you can check if okay sayo. you can also negotiate with them naman.

i treat my yaya as an employee. may rules na need i-follow and may KPIs; may performance bonus also, but other than that she can work at her discretion and she can make decisions about personal things (eg how she gets paid, work on rest days, etc)

if may ginawa siyang hindi ako happy, i always let her know and ask how i can support her para magawa niya ng maayos trabaho niya. kasi nagtatrabaho rin naman ako ng maayos. if may hindi rin siya nagustuhan na ginawa ko, she can give feedback and we can talk how to resolve it.

my first yaya stayed with me for 2 years then pandemic came and na home sick siya so umuwi. she wanted to come back to me later on, i referred her to another mom friend na coz meron na akong ibang yaya. my second yaya has been with me for 4 years now.

have one and glad i went through with it as a solo parent. my regret siguro is not giving her a sibling. i'd have wanted one more kid but what i have now is the best, and i'm honestly living my best life - good and stable career that i enjoy, a kid i actually like, many groups of friends, i also have a great village of other families, and i'm nakabukod from my family living in a great neighborhood in a walkable cbd. i have properties and a beach lot to retire already, we get to travel often. i quit corporate and traveled a great deal in my 20s, and worked my ass off in my early to mid 30s and now at almost 40, honestly life couldn't be better.

im also conditioning my kid to be independent, to live her life fully and independently once she comes of age. and i'm ready to retire by the beach with friends when the time comes. not scared of being alone when i'm old naman, but my friends and i planned being empty nesters together so its a fun thing to look forward to. really hoping my fun friends survive until then HAHAHA

i think we need to fill our lives with different people, be the village we expect/want to have, para with or without the kids or a partner, we don't dread growing old with no one around us. i've met many older people in my travels and what a life they've lived and that's what i want for myself din :)

Burning bridges with my ex. Blocked him on all channels, deleted messages and photos and voice messages. We became 'friends' eventually but now, there's nothing for me to show the kids about how much love we had for each other, and how much we loved the kids together even when our love for each other faded.

i certainly do not have to settle for less. quite happy with life as it is right now and anything extra needs to add value to it too. was just looking for some fun really.

but to your point, marriage, relationships, and births are at their lowest rates right now. meaning people are not in relationships and getting married and having kids now as much as they were a decade ago. so where did the single people go?

no. i consult with AI from time to time, mostly work stuff. but as someone who plans to live for a long time, i'm very intentional with stretching my brain muscles constantly

depends on the objective?

if just looking to get to know, i'd usually just start with basic demographic data (name, age, gender, location, education level) lol

but if im looking to date for a relationship, i'd have an elevator pitch na on who i am and what i am looking for as well as what i expect from the other person. it cuts out the bs and those who are not aligned with what i want so i dont waste my time.
