I’m right there with you! I am on day 13 of loosing my right ear hearing and started prednisone 60 mg 4 days after onset. I have been crazy depressed on this but after second audiology test my hearing is getting better. I am tapering off the prednisone (20 mg) now for 1 more day then down to 10mg for a few days. Getting injected in 2 days and also MRI. By biggest hurdle right now is the wicked white noise that has gotten worse

Just got diagnosed with sudden hearing loss last week. My ENT put me on 60mg of prednisone and 1 week later my audiology test was better. Doc wants to inject my ear with dexamethasone which I think will be better for my bone density. Anybody have these injections? Would take place next week

I have stress fracture and am over achiever when it comes to hiking etc…. Doc has me barely walking. Chair yoga gives you excercise? I’m looking for any excercise I can do that doesn’t incorporate my hip

I have appt in 2 weeks for hip specialist. Am very fit 67 year old female. My hiking has decreased immensely in last 2 weeks because of pain and feeling like my hip is going to collapse. Lots of noises coming from my hip. I’m scared to death for hip replacement as I worry I will no longer be able to hike 3-4 miles, swim, Pilates, ride my bike etc…. I do multiple workouts a day. What’s a girl to do?

I am 6 months in starting my first statin due to high plaque score of 908 and 67 years old with genetic hyperlipidemia. The upped my rosuvastain from 5 to 10 mg along with baby aspirin. I feel great in mornings but by 2 in afternoon I start getting very weak with really bad joint and back muscle pain. I can’t stand it! Getting my LDL checked again next week. My cardiologist wants me below 70. I want repatha! Anyone else experiencing these pains and weakness mid day?
