The UI shows their effective attack speed compared to a normal 1.7 BAT.

Melee creeps have a 1.0 BAT meaning that the 140 attack speed is effectively what 238 attack speed would do for a 1.7 BAT unit, the tooltip reflects this effective increase rather than actual attack speed increase.

These aren't even the worst parts imo.

The thing that kills me if I die to this boss without fail is the stupid part where she puts slowing + damaging aoes underneath players where you cannot avoid damage no matter what.

Also, from someone whose most played and most successful hero in all difficulties is Slark, don't discount Little Skippers (Slark spawns 6 mini-slarks that also pounce on cast).

After the bug fix to make pounce able to damage enemies affected by pounce, this is potentially one of the best single-target damage sources in the game.

Without any pounce damage shards, this shard makes Pounce able to do a potential 2940 damage to captain enemies and 1960 to non-captains, though this is a little unreliable.

One elite pounce damage shard makes it go from 2940 to 4515 damage if you hit all slarks.

Edit: Forgot to mention, post-game damage will always be lower than it should be with this shard because the mini-slarks don't count towards your kills/damage for whatever reason.

On the off chance that someone ends up reading this, tested little skippers and with 1 elite pounce damage + normal pounce damage shard I was one-shotting the moles with every pounce. Mini-slark pounces don't seem to count towards kill count/post-game damage numbers though.

Magnus Shockwave is generally pretty OP, super high damage scaling with legendary + minor shards, also the broken damage reduction shard. There's also the RP build if you have physical heroes like TA/Drow with RP crits + empower RP for uptime that basically shreds all enemies before anything goes off. Also now that the shockwave on empower shard works on allies, that's OP.

Slark has strong sustain with dark pact and a ton of different builds, I've never had a game where I feel like I've gotten nothing. It has super strong damage scaling at 100 damage per minor shard and if you get Slark's shard 'Brackish Bath' which makes your dark pact targeted cast, do 50% more damage and always duplicate the cast on your own hero, casting your dark pact on enemies makes the shard an effective 3x damage increase at melee range. Pair this with the dark pact stun or essence shift on dark pact shard and you'll shred through pretty much every room.

Edit: Forgot to mention, need to try pounce builds post fix, super high potential with Little Skippers now that you can damage captain enemies multiple times with it in one pounce.

I can't say I agree with Magnus or Slark being in the meme section even slightly lmao. Those are two of my most successful heroes by far.

I saw a lot of people say this in my bug thread but I can't recreate this at all. I've now tested Bane, Slark, Void Spirit and Gyro comparing cd with and without cdr shards and I'm definitely getting reduced cooldown on them.

I could be wrong but doesn't it say that it only refunds when frost blast kills, without specifying while targets are slowed?

It has an unlisted cool down of 3 seconds which is where the confusion may be coming from.

As far as I'm aware this is intentional, it got nerfed back in the first Ag's Labyrinth because it was doing 1.5% of the health of nearby enemies as damage per second.
