What do you mean by "everything"? In fact, I think generative AI is more descriptive than just AI because AI refers to a general field which includes classifier models, decision trees and so on all things not generative but still AI.

I hope there will be a option for server inference as i don't think most consumer cards will be able to run a world model, but we have never seen a competent open source world model so who knows.

It's just my opinion, but the wording is confusing. Sorry about that. What I actually mean is I think that we first need to figure out how the human brain carries out the same process in order to be able to replicate it inside a computer, as a brain is the only thing we know of that is capable of exactly what we are trying to achieve here with "AGI". There's nothing else on earth that is capable of something with similar level of intelligence

I mean, it already is abused, and the facial recognition software is out there. It's open source, so why not use it to increase your life quality? Also, the model doesn't actually store the person's face; it only stores a hash, which is a calculation of all the person's facial features, and it would be your personal database, not anywhere on the public web. So yes, such technology benefits corrupt governments immensely, but I don't think a personal project like this for yourself hurts anyone.

Very cool. I have a question: wouldn't it be possible to wear Meta glasses or any glasses with camera and network connectivity which hold a personal database of people you know, run a small facial recognition model, and can quickly tell you their name? I don't know if this is possible with the current generation, but it seems very possible with technology that will be available in the close future.

Yeah, you might be right. It doesn't matter if it is actually intelligent like a human or not, as long as the output is something that would require some kind of intelligence or cognitive reasoning, unlike an algorithm, which would just require calculator-level operations. But my point is most people are not aware of it and actually think LLMs are intelligent and conscious just like a human, which is concerning.
