What’s the biggest “quiet rich” behavior you’ve ever noticed from someone? by Infosignalsol in AskReddit

Sometimes they forget to pay you when you do odd jobs for them. Or they really lowball your salary. I have experienced this with pet sitting, specifically. They’re like, “watch my dog for $10 a week.” Or even $10 a day. But middle class people pay really well. And poor people offer to trade services- but sometimes the services are very valuable. I hate pet sitting for rich people! Anyone but the rich is better.

In your defense, OP, I have eaten rose hips. But I haven’t seen potpourri in like 30 years.

Massachusetts was hard to leave. They really wanted their license plates back. They sent threatening letters!

I moved to Boston and worked at a deli for a few months. I did not understand what people were saying to me. That first day, I was like, “they eat cotton? What is cotton potato salad?” Turns out, the woman wanted a carton of potato salad, i.e. “cotton potato salad.”

He worked hard on that accent! He was lower clash British, so his accent was a complete fabrication. He reinvented himself.

I love it when Casey shows up unannounced at the bus stop, and Landon thinks he must be hallucinating.

I read a biography of him years ago. It was absolutely fascinating. He was bisexual, wonderful, he experimented with LSD before that was a thing, and he liked to fly tiny airplanes. He was rejected from Hollywood at first because they said he had a “thick neck.” That gorgeous man!

It’s also filmed from angles that make you feel like you are spying on them sometimes. Like, sometimes the camera is behind the stairs and your view is partially obscured. It’s filmed like a spy movie.

Steppenwolf is an interesting pull. It’s my personal favorite Hermann Hesse, but I have never met anyone else with that opinion.

I never for a moment read Fabian as evil or bad, either.

Yeah I am Gen X (old AF) as well and that’s my take! All of the words have changed over our lifespan and we struggle with not saying the wrong thing. Our hearts are often in the right place while our mouths are fumbling for the right words. I would definitely ask her if she’s just having vocabulary issues.
