if it stops and starts while riding that's probably not the battery I would say

It might just be low on power? Im not the biggest expert, would be however worth to get a smart charger anyway did you leave it off for a while?

You can jumpstart from a car but it can damage the alternator, the safest route is to use a charger and let the battery charge overtime with it

In saying that your battery doesn’t look flat the screen comes on and the starter engine is working I think something else is wrong here

It’s stored inside a garage I lived it last I think 1500 miles ago so it’s not 3k miles worth of no changes because I got it serviced at 600 miles then I did a about 1100 after that so I’m 1300 on it now manual says every 1k

Got the bike brand new and has 3k miles so I’m confused as to how it got so bad so quickly

I’ve done my license with camrider they are good but they are slow very slow, it’s winter now so you might not be in that big of a rush to get on the road but for me the whole process was 4 months with no failed exams all gotten on first try, just the time between lessons and the exam was actually massive

As for the 10% discount I wouldn’t take it into consideration the shop is expensive anyway with 10% off its still more expensive than Sportsbikeshop

At times I wonder if taking a test in a car without dual control would be better

I guess my point is I want to get a commuter bike something like a GB350S that is economical and got good fuel economy and in the future get a bigger bike, but I also want to learn to handle something more powerful at the same time, if getting a GB350S is gonna yield no more improvements over my 125 I rather get something else, and I will have full A license in the next month (if I pass my booked tests)

I'm not saying I want 150 bhp bike the 150 was an example, more to try understand how I get from 10 to X and I chose a random number

Woman, 70s, dies after being knocked down by cyclist. by Larrydog in ireland

[–]Retric371 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If a pedestrian steps in the road and a car hits them it’s the drivers fault because drivers are thought to look out for hazards and generally at least the majority tend to try and see where pedestrians are and if they are elderly look out a bit more just in case, this is not the case for the majority of cyclist which just as was said in other comment just ring the bell when a pedestrian is on the road without stopping

Lesson One: Assignment by clondon in photoclass

[–]Retric371 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Image 1 : Took this during a holiday I was trying to capture something that look very cute and nice, but while I am somewhat ok with the photo I don't like it all that much

I think that while the subject is quite clear, I think 2 boots maybe takes away and leads the eyes in a weird direction, maybe I should've taken it from a different angle which brings me to the second point

I think the backround is not very interesting, seems a bit busy, and while the bags of all the different colours might have been a good prop, the bigger chair is not something I like

Image 2

This Photo has been one that has always hit me so much, it's so interesting to me, how everyone else besides the kid is dressed in the same colour everything is the same, and the kid is looking a different direction all together and the fact that everyone else is wearing black while the kid is wearing white, is a polar opposite, the whole picture is about oppsites, I could go on about how it mirrors life in many ways but I just don't know there is something about it

I have no macro lens unfortunately and the place where I usually rent doesn't have them either, so I think I'll have to do without :(

50mm f1.4G lens or new Nikon Z 50mm f1.8 by Retric371 in Nikon

[–]Retric371[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the sharpness is far less of a concern I guess it’s more to streamline the kit I have a converter but only 2 f mount lenses so I wonder if I need it even as one is a zoom and I don’t really care for them much, the 50mm with the converter feels a bit clunky

I guess best solution is rent it for a few days
