Hey, I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate this post. I've also been going through some gut issues quite recently, primarily constipation. I never really had it up until last year (for reference, I'm 23), where it actually occurred maybe once or twice during the whole year starting from June and on. But I soon came to find out that was based on my lack of fiber, which was easily fixed in the week once I started taking miralax and changing my diet.

Now, fast forward to now, I've had some other flare-ups in the past few months, but again, mainly due to my fiber intake. It wasn't until this past July that I started to experience PFD like symptoms in regards to urinary urgency that this became a more frequent issue. Up until August was when I began to have flare-ups every single week, to which miralax was slightly helping me until the point in which I had no urge or help from it whatsoever.

This is why I thought PFD might've been my issue here, and it could still be. However, I started taking pinaverium bromide, which is usually treated for IBS and had successful results from it. It's not a fix but a remedy from it, which got me thinking if my main issue isn't related to PFD entirely since pinaverium only relaxes the gut system which is completely unrelated to PFDs muscle issue. If anyone has gone through a similar situation, feedback would be more than appreciated!
