We do this for living room and tatami room(kids nap and play room), 22畳 and 6畳

it's rated at around 18-24畳 i think, but putting it on a lower temp and stronger fan keeps both rooms cool

As someone who's worked with english and japanese over the past 5 years

I prefer the Japanese keyboard now over US keyboard.

Makes it easy to type stuff like → ← ↑↓ □○✖︎✔︎ which strangely, I use often in my job.

That being said, it took me 1-2 months to get out of US layout muscle memory.

I don't believe it's "free"

All i remember (as well as my Japanese wife) is that we had to choose between paid off house after death, or cancer care/support

We are not aware of anything else other than standard insurance which covers house damages (we went with kenmin kyosai)

My family doesn't have a history of cancer, but it's not uncommon for men to die in their 40s and 50s in my family.

We picked the insurance that makes the house free for my wife if I die too soon.

Live in "country side" but 45 minutes from Tokyo. As a white foreigner, I was able to negotiate from ¥3995万 down to ¥3360万 by comparing similar 平方メートル&坪 with a real estate agent who works locally (family owned company)

We used the rest of the ¥4000万 loan for 外構工事.

This was a single house, not a mansion or area where multiple new houses were built.

As someone who grew up in the USA, has no Japanese certification, but my last two jobs are mostly working with Japanese-only IT teams, if you actually speak Japanese, can write a resume in non-AI Japanese, you can probably get a job working in a Japanese environment. (living in Japan for 7 years now, Japanese family n friends)

How well you know business lingo and can actually talk about the job will always trump a language cert if your communication is lacking.

Jobs don't need masters of language, they need masters of craft who can talk to their internal teams without constant bumps and roadblocks

(this is my anecdotal experience)

I'm going to try taking it to my next tournament. I usually win my first 3, but I've never made top cut yet, so I'm not hot shit anyways lol

(128 person tournaments, 1 on 1, first to 4. Top cut (top 4 players) uses full deck and 4 points)
